Department of Healthcare
The Department of Healthcare trains technically strong graduate students for the global pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Our pharmaceutics graduate students will learn the principles of drug delivery, metabolism and disposition and current pharmaceutical practices and principles, including dosage form design, manufacturing, toxicology and regulatory sciences. Our medical device graduate students will learn how to design devices to diagnose and treat medical needs, and plan and manage the production of medical devices to improve healthcare globally.
The Department of Healthcare will provide translational sciences and engineering training that bridges basic sciences and healthcare services for the purpose of addressing the world’s challenges in unmet therapeutic needs to improve human lives. Through mandatory internship, students will work in teams with industry sponsors to solve real-world problems.
