Governance

GSAS is a graduate-level only non-profit institution in Hong Kong. As a private and industry focused institution, GSAS will operate more efficiently and will have simpler governance structure, without sacrificing quality which is part of the core value of GSAS. GSAS' main governing body is board of directors (BOD). The School's administration is advised by three bodies: Academic Advisory Board, Quality Assurance Board, and Student Advisory Council. The shared governance structure of GSAS is described in the Policy 020.

Board of Directors

The BOD is responsible for developing and approving the School's vision, mission, strategic goals and plans, approving main policies, and approving the annual budget.

Academic Advisory Board

The Academic Advisory Board represents the faculty constituencies and advises the school administration and BOD on academic and research matter.

Quality Assurance Board

The Quality Assurance Board consists of all stakeholder group of the school, and advises the school administration and BOD on monitoring, auditing, investigating, and making recommendations on all quality related issues.

Student Advisory Council

The Student Advisory Council meets periodically with the school's senior officers to address issues of concern to the students.
